Case studies (shared passages)
One passage — a scenario, source or data set — with several questions of any type.
For: Employers & institutions, Subject experts (SMEs), Administrators
- 1Go to Question content → Case studies and create a case study: bank, title and passage.
- 2Add its questions: single choice, multi-select, written answers or scenario analysis (scored with a rubric), coding or SQL.
- 3Each question is reviewed by an SME against the passage, then published like any other question.
- 4Set how many case studies an assessment includes on the assessment's page. Candidates see the passage beside each of its questions, which stay together and in order.
Changing a passage
Editing the passage creates a new version. Questions in the case get new versions pinned to it, and approved or published ones go back for revalidation, so nobody answers a question reviewed against different text. Earlier attempts keep the passage they were given.
Scoring and reports
Every question is scored on its own and counts toward its skill. Reports add a short summary per case study.
