1 · Question review
No question is used before it passes review
Questions are drafted
Questions are written for each skill an assessment covers. Some are drafted with AI assistance.
Every question is checked
For hiring and professional assessments, subject-matter experts approve, correct or reject every question. Learning and self-assessment papers are checked question by question with evidence — code run, answers recomputed, sources opened — and are labelled as AI-reviewed, not expert-validated. Doubtful questions are set aside.
The assessment opens
An assessment is offered only once its questions have been approved. Unreviewed questions are never used in real assessments.
What the catalogue shows today
The first assessment, Java Developer, is still in expert review, so the catalogue lists it as “Not available yet”. It opens once its questions have been approved. View the catalogue.
2 · The assessment
What you answer
Multiple-choice questions
Some questions have one correct answer; others ask you to choose every answer that applies.
Short written answers
Some assessments also include short written answers. These are scored by a person.
3 · Scoring
How results are worked out
- Choice questions
- Scored automatically.
- Written answers
- Scored by a person.
- Overall and by skill
- Results are shown for the whole assessment and for each skill it covers.
- The evidence behind each result
- Each skill result shows how many questions it is based on, so you can judge how much weight to give it.
- Comparisons with others
- Percentiles or rankings appear only when enough comparable results exist. None are shown today.
4 · Proctoring
Integrity checks, only with consent
Proctoring is used only on proctored assessments, and only after the candidate agrees to it. When it is on:
- The camera stays on, and your browser checks that exactly one face is present (no face, or more than one face, is flagged)
- The assessment runs in full screen
- Switching tabs and attempts to paste are recorded
- A snapshot is taken when a rule may have been broken
- A set number of warnings ends the attempt
- A person reviews integrity flags before any conclusion is drawn
5 · Reports
A GyaniX ID and a report you can share
Every individual has a GyaniX ID. After an assessment, they receive a report with the overall result and the result for each skill. They can share the report through a verification link, so others can confirm it is genuine.

Running assessments for a team, a hiring drive or a class
- Set up your organisation workspace
- Add team members with roles
- Invite candidates one at a time or by CSV
- Assign assessments
- Track invitations and attempts
- View and compare results on the same assessment
- Export results as CSV
GyaniX shows comparisons with other people only when enough comparable results exist, and a person reviews any integrity flag before a conclusion is drawn. Decisions about people are made by people.
